Boogie Bliss

“Boogie” is a mixed-breed dog that presented as an abandoned stray to Augusta Animal Emergency after being hit by a car.  He suffered multiple femoral fractures to his left hind leg, several pelvic fractures, and a meta-carpal fracture of his right foreleg.  Multiple surgical pins were placed to secure all the fractures and their fragments in his rear leg and a long-term splint was necessary for the foreleg to heal.  “Boogie” was adopted by a staff technician, whose dedication and diligence in his care has helped him develop into a healthy and active dog.
