Lions Club Dog Walk

The Augusta Animal Emergency Hospital sponsored a booth and participated in a charity dog walk sponsored by the Lions Club of Evans. Our involvement was organized by Lisa Williams. Proceeds of this event directly benefited our local community through Project Courage, helping children in crisis, and nationally through our support of Leader Dogs for the Blind.
We entered “Boogie” owned by Sean Bliss, one of our technicians. Pictured is Boogie an adopted dog whom Sean took in after his original owner would not proceed with repair of two fractured legs and a broken pelvis. Boogie was allowed to ride in a wagon because of his orthopedic recovery.
