Carol Duggan

Carol became interested in emergency veterinary medicine in 1990. While working for a local small animal veterinarian, she also volunteered at the original Animal Emergency Clinic to gain further experience.

Needless to say, volunteering at the emergency clinic sparked an interest in that aspect of the profession. She soon left day practice to pursue a full-time position in emergency medicine.

Carol married her husband, Tony, in 1990 and in 1991, Carol gave birth to twin sons, Alexander and Chandler.

Education was also a priority in Carol's life, so she continued to work part-time and attended college full-time. She completed college at Augusta State University in 1995 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Carol now works full-time at Augusta Animal Emergency.
