Calvin Jones
Hi! My name is Calvin Jones. I was born in Augusta, Georgia and have lived here most of my life.
I began my veterinary career in 1991 in a local small animal practice. I gained much experience and knowledge for seven years as a veterinary assistant. I took a 2-year break from veterinary medicine rebuilding military trucks before deciding to return to veterinary medicine.
Since 2002, I have worked as a full-time veterinary assistant at Augusta Animal Emergency.
After 13 years of veterinary experience, I have taken a special interest in the areas of radiology and general surgery.
My other accomplishments include a Certificate of Achievement in Airbrushing Murals on Steel, which helps me satisfy my creative outlets, and an HVAC Certification I earned from Augusta Technical College in 2006.
The motto I have always maintained at Augusta Animal Emergency is “Do unto others’ pets as you would do unto yours.
When the patient is special and the condition is critical you will want immediate, experienced, competent emergency care.
Augusta Animal Emergency is dedicated solely to emergency and critical care for the companion animal. Our philosophy is to offer the very best veterinary care possible.
