Staff Bio's
Juli Peters, DVM
Dr. Peters grew up in the "Horse Capital of the World" of Ocala, Florida. After various endeavors she found herself in Augusta, GA pursuing her long-time veterinary career aspirations. She became Practice Manager and Head Technician at Augusta Animal Emergency in 2000 and played an integral role in the evolution of the clinic's medical philosophy. She worked at AAE while completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree at Augusta State University, and continued working at AAE until her acceptance into veterinary school.
Dr. Peters is a 2009 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and she completed her clinical year at Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Upon graduation, she returned to Augusta, GA as an associate emergency veterinarian at Augusta Animal Emergency. Her special interests include emergency medicine, surgery, ultrasound, client education and staff enrichment.
