Katie Cutter, DVM
We are pleased to announce the addition of veterinary ophthalmology at our clinic. Katie Cutter, DVM, DACVO of Animal Eye Care Clinic in Athens, Georgia will be coming to our clinic once a month to provide ophthalmology consulting.
Katie completed her DVM at North Carolina State University and then fulfilled her internship and comparative ophthalmology residency training at Cornell University. She became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2004 and started a referral ophthalmology practice in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Katie and her husband, Scott Schatzberg (a veterinary neurologist) moved to Athens in the Fall 2006 to be closer to family and for Scott to join the faculty at UGA.
Katie joined Victoria Pentlarge’s practice (Animal Eye Care Clinic) in the spring 2007. Katie also runs a two semester continuing education course in small animal ophthalmology at Massay University in New Zealand.
Katie and Scott have a 19 month-old son and are expecting their second child in June 2008.
We are excited to have Katie join us once monthly and look forward to continuing to provide the best in veterinary care to your patients.
