Russ Boykin
Hello, my name is Russ Boykin. I was born in Savannah, Georgia and have lived in Augusta since 1996. I am married to a lovely woman named Tammy and have a daughter named Sara.
I began my career in veterinary medicine in 1991 and have worked at veterinary clinics in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Naples, Florida, Savannah, Georgia and here in Augusta. I began working at AAE in 2001.
I chose veterinary medicine as a career due to a strong interest in science, medicine, and animals and have never regretted the choice. I tell people all the time that I can honestly get up every day and go to a job that I love and enjoy.
Working in emergency medicine has become a passion of mine and has greatly increased my knowledge and skill level.
The doctors and staff at AAE are some of the most caring and professional people that I have had the pleasure to work with. I am proud to call AAE my second family.
