Sean Bliss
Sean Bliss began her veterinary career in 1994 here in Augusta. Since she first entered the profession, she has been a part of emergency medicine and remains in that specialized aspect today.
From the time she entered emergency and critical care, she trained under highly skilled veterinarians and experienced licensed technicians which have contributed to her own advanced technical abilities.
Sean’s interest in medicine extends beyond that practiced on four-legged creatures.
In 2006, she received a degree in Vascular Ultrasound through University Hospital and practices part time as time permits between her duties at AAE and time spent at home with her husband and her own furry critters, including four dogs, three cats, and two-and-a-half horses.
“I have gained many valuable opportunities working at Augusta Animal Emergency throughout the years that I know I could not have found elsewhere. I feel I am privileged to be a part of a clinic that practices a level of medicine that I know each staff member would expect for their own pet. I take great satisfaction knowing I help represent that compassion and vigilance consistently and efficiently to each of our patients. One of the best aspects of being a part of AAE is having worked with the same people over the years that have grown to be my second family. By the very nature of our business, we are required to work together on weekends and holidays; however, over time we have developed a bond that provides us with appreciation of those times spent together as a team.”
When the patient is special and the condition is critical you will want immediate, experienced, competent emergency care.
Augusta Animal Emergency is dedicated solely to emergency and critical care for the companion animal. Our philosophy is to offer the very best veterinary care possible.
